WHMIS 2015 Online Training Course Update
As you may already know, earlier this year, Canada had finally aligned WHMIS with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, resulting in what is now known as WHMIS 2015.
During the several year transitional period, both WHMIS 1988 and WHMIS 2015 elements will be present in most workplaces. This means that employees must be trained on both WHMIS 1988 and WHMIS 2015, since they may encounter elements from each system.
The great news is that we’ve got you covered! We anticipated the changes well in advance and added content into our WHMIS for Workers course last year. If your workers completed the course after August 2014, they had also completed a GHS module that contained comprehensive information about the new elements.
Eversafe Media’s New WHMIS 2015 Course
We’re excited to announce that we’ve updated our Online WHMIS Training Course and have integrated the new GHS-aligned elements directly. The course has also been re-branded to WHMIS 2015 for Workers. The training still contains all of the previous course’s features & benefits including modern content, interactivity and competency-centered exam requirements.
More great news. Any course credits that you have on your account have already been updated to the brand new WHMIS 2015 for Workers course. No need to take any action 🙂
If you have workers that still haven’t been trained, you can get discounted course credits through your facilitator account as usual.
