Use License

General

a) Permission is granted to use training products and materials as indicated in specific product licensing terms. Under no circumstances can Workplace Safety LLC’s products be resold or used for commercial purposes. This is a grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:

• Modify or copy materials unless specific in the specific product licensing terms;
• use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
• Resell the materials;
• attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Workplace Safety LLC’s website;
• remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
• transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server

b) This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Workplace Safety LLC at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

Training Kits and Materials

Limitations

Standard training kit licensing grants the licensee organization the ability to facilitate training to their employees, contractors, partners, and associates within the guidelines contained in the licensing agreement/terms.

Training Kits cannot be used by third-party trainers to facilitate training for clients regardless of whether such training results in profit.

Posting Training Materials Online or in Learning Management Systems

A standard license for our training materials/kits does not allow you to post-training materials online or deploy them through your Learning Management System. A special license is required for this. Please contact us for a custom quote.

Allowed Number of Locations / Trainers

The contents contained within the training kit cannot be shared or reproduced for the purpose of sharing.

The standard licensing allows the use of the materials at a single location by an unlimited number of trainers OR at multiple locations by a single trainer.

For example, if your company has a trainer who travels to multiple locations to facilitate training, only a single training kit license is required. Likewise, if you’re purchasing the kit to facilitate the training at a single location by multiple in-house trainers, only a single training kit license is required.

If you have three locations and each location has one or more trainers that will be facilitating the training, you will require three training kit licenses.

If you’ve purchased a single kit and sent components of the kit to other locations for use by additional trainers, you would be in breach of the licensing terms and would be required to purchase an additional license.

Allowed Number of Employees / Trainees

An unlimited number of employees can be trained using our training kits as long as location/trainer provisions are adhered to.

Customizations

Standard licensing grants the licensee permission to customize all content contained within the kit in MS PowerPoint, MD Word, and other customizable formats. Student workbooks and Instructors’ manuals cannot be customized with a standard license.

Reproduction of Materials

The components contained within the training kits can be reprinted and distributed an unlimited number of times.

Course Licensing

Organizations purchasing course licensing for the deployment of online training through their own Learning Management System must adhere to the following basic license terms. Additional terms and conditions may be included in specific licensing agreements.

The purchaser (organization) is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the specified Workplace Safety LLC Online Course for the purpose of providing education and training to its employees for the duration agreed upon

• The licensee is permitted to deploy the course through the Learning Management System of its choice
• If the licensee does not renew the license upon completion of the specified licensing term, the licensee may maintain the course and its content within its LMS for reference purposes only
• The number of employees who may access the course throughout the duration of the licensing period shall not exceed the number agreed upon without prior permission from Workplace Safety LLC
• Employees may access the course and its contents an unlimited number of times throughout the duration of the license agreement
• No part of the course may be reproduced or stored in a system in any form by any means, including mechanical, photocopied, recorded or otherwise without prior permission from Workplace Safety LLC
• The course cannot be modified or manipulated in any way without prior written  permission from Workplace Safety LLC
• The course, files or any information contained within cannot be sold, leased or distributed
